A Glimpse Into My Real Life**
Before you turn these pages and see these photos, I want you to know something:
These are not just pictures.
These are pieces of me.
Some of these images show a little girl who didn’t understand why life
felt so heavy. She didn’t have the words for fear, for confusion, or for
loneliness — but she felt all of it. What she did understand was how to smile,
even when her heart didn’t have a reason to. You will see that smile in some of
these photos. Just know… it wasn’t always happiness. Sometimes it was survival.
Other pictures show me as a young woman — trying to figure out love,
trying to raise a child, trying to make the best decisions I could with the
pieces I had. I look at those photos now and I want to hug that woman. She was
trying so hard. She didn’t know her worth yet. She didn’t know how strong she
was becoming.
And then you will see the woman I am now.
The woman who found God in the middle of chaos.
The woman who learned to forgive her past and embrace her future.
The woman who finally recognized the beauty she carried all along — the beauty
that came from surviving, from enduring, from rising again and again when life
tried to silence her.
When you look at these pictures, I hope you see more than poses and
smiles.
I hope you see the journey.
I hope you see the healing.
I hope you see the little girl who kept fighting, and the grown woman who kept
her promise to become better, not bitter.
These photos are my truth.
My history.
My testimony.
A picture may paint a thousand words, but these pictures… they whisper
the story of a girl who never stopped dreaming and a woman who finally learned
to live.
Welcome to my life — not just the story I told,
but the life I lived
Annette
